In everyday, the world population increase, as well as the countrys population, also increases. This is because one affects the other when there is influence on one. Population increase has become the other of the day and the resources of some countries are not equally and equitably distributed among them. Then, a way of reducing population size is birth control. The question then is, is birth control good and is it safe. This article or piece of writing will throw more light on it. The main aim or objective of this article or writing is to know how birth control is good and the safety of birth control. Then, methods will be highlighted and choose a birth control method. In some parts of the world, there has been a lot of discussion about whether different forms of birth control are good or safe. Some religions have been against any form of birth control except trying not to have sex together. But an increasing number of religious leaders are realizing now important it is to the health and well-being of families and communities that people be able use easier and some methods of birth control. What then is birth control? This is a really big question to ask and have knowledge on than to listen to people and misconception about it.
Birth control is the practice of preventing unwanted pregnancies, especially by use of contraception or birth control, also known as contraception and fertility control, is a method or device used to prevent pregnancy. Birth control has been used since ancient times, but effective and safe methods of birth control only became available in the 20th century. Planning, making available, and using birth control is called family planning. This lead us to the question is it good. It is good because it was stated in the definition above that, it prevents pregnancies being the main task but contraception also do well to prevent sexually transmitted diseases as well. Since, the population of the world and country Ghana want to reduce, then the birth control or family planning or contraception would be of help. It prevents unintended pregnancy because you are not really prepared for the pregnancy and because you are on contraception. This is best way to control world population and also good but side effect though.
The next question then is, is it safe? Yes, it is safe when you speak to a professional health personnel such as a medical doctor, midwife and any reproductive facility across the country. You visit them and speak to them as to help you make decision on the right contraception. About the birth control or contraception, some work better for some people than others. Before you choose a method, talk with your midwife, health worker or doctor about what methods are available and are likely to work best for you. Difference in safety, effectiveness, convenience and availability should be considered. Husbands and wives should decide together and share the responsibility. The contraception include the short term methods thus, the Daily Pill and Injectable (one month and three months), the long term thus, Intra Uterine Device (IUD), Implants (Jadelle and Implanon nxt) and the permanent methods thus, Vasectomy for males and Tubal Ligation for females. These are the birth controls or contraception that will help reduce population. I think the government should formulate that will help reduce population. From the population policy, it was stated that, they would reduce the population by a figure and increase the use of family planning methods or contraception. Moreover, education on teenage pregnancies at the Junior High School (JHS) and Senior High School (SHS) level should increase. Misconception on family planning should be acknowledged, cleared and have change of mind to increase the number of purchase. With these, the population can reduce.
