Poised to contribute towards the attainment of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) on education, a social and entrepreneurship club, Quantum Ideas Ghana, has refurbished and upgraded the Awaso Community Library in the Western Region of Ghana.

The group believes that each individual has a solution to developmental challenges of the country, hence it will always join hands and take collective actions to improve education

The renovation, furnishing and stocking of the Awaso Community Library are aimed at improving the teaching and learning in the area.

This, the group believes, will also improve access to quality reading materials with support from its partners.

The Executive Director of the organization, Anne Ethel Komlaga encouraged all the youth in the area to get off the fence and join hands to contribute to development in their communities and the country at large.

“Driven by ambition and determination to make an impact in society, Quantum Ideas Ghana is restless in its efforts to provide a reliable educational material to all within its capacity ,” she said.

Quantum Ideas Ghana is a charity group that believes that the environment must be favorable for everyone to live in irrespective of wherever they find themselves.

“In the quest to make the country conducive place for education, the group challenged itself to be creative in their approaches to tackling the objectives of the Sustainable Development Goals to make memorable impacts on the lives of generations,” she added.

The presence of the library was welcomed by the people of Awaso with much joy especially the chief, Nana Katakyie Kwame Amponsah ll who noted that education is at the core of his heart and promised to go lengths for everyone in the community to get a fair share.

Chairman for the occasion, Michael Aidoo, founder of KAAF University, reiterated the importance and use of community libraries to education.
