The president of Ghana is the guarantor of the Constitution of Ghana, and the rights and freedom of citizens. In accordance with the procedure established by the constitution, he takes measures to protect Ghana's sovereignty, its independence, and state integrity ensures the coordinated functioning and interaction of government bodies.

For political efficiency, economic growth and employment, the president appoint ministers, not just ministers but qualified politicians to represent the duty they are experts. Thus, the world, including Ghanaians witnessed the appointment of 110 ministers in Ghana by the current president, Nana Akufo Addo.

After the appointment of such a large number of ministers, many Ghanaians who didn't find comfort or experienced hardships under John Mahama's administration, gave a sigh of relief, expecting miracles from the 110 ministers appointed by the new government.

We need to accept the fact that Nana Akufo Addo hasn't been in power for too long, therefore, needs ample time to put things right.

His implementation of free education in Ghana is a great step which has given comfort to many finding it difficult to educate their children, but Ghana's economy is neither growing nor flexible. Things are really tough for thousands of common Ghanaians.

No matter how hard a government tries to build a country if citizens find it hard to eat, while commodities are not affordable and there is no job, they will lift up their voice. They will never acknowledge the efficiency of the government.

Unlike Africa, food and other human basic needs are very cheap in Europe, therefore, citizens don't even have time for politicians. Many don't care about politicians and aren't interested to vote. The reason in a country like Belgium, if you fail to vote, you'll face a heavy fine.

They need votes to appoint the right people to manage daily affairs to make things easy for the citizens.

Unfortunately, the story is different in Africa. Frustrated, hungry and the unemployed citizens, queue in hot temperatures to vote, all because they want a change of government. In this way, thinking of the right political party to vote for has become part of the lives of thousands of Ghanaians.

The President defines the main directions of the domestic and foreign policy of the state, as the head of state he represents Ghana within the country and in international relations. Therefore, in everything, Ghanaians depend on their leader, so why he can't embark on projects which are beneficial to the state?

Sustainable development and economic growth depend on the right developmental projects. Almost every country in Africa follows democracy but each has failed because our leaders are not utilizing our resources for the right projects to create employment and build a flexible economy after the president has been elected for four years.

Above all, there is no country which will be successful politically and economically if the judiciary system is corrupt. This is what is 'killing' Ghana at the moment. With 110 ministers, Ghana is now under the international microscope, wanting to know what Nana Akufo Addo can do with such a large number of 'disciples.'

(I am not sure if it is or yet to appear in the Guinness Book of Records).

If he fails, that will be the biggest embarrassment to entire African federation. So he must think deeply and ponder over the benefits of each project he wants to build in Ghana, especially, if he wants to be a leader for another four years.
