Aluworks loses despite massive sale of shares

Accra, Dec. 1, GNA - Aluworks sold a huge two million shares in trading on Thursday but registered the solitary loss as the Accra bourse continued to slide.

The GSE All-Share Index, the main market index, lost 0.14 points at 4,792.96 points.

Change for the year remained at -29.50 per cent.

Aluworks lost nine cedis at 5,000 cedis.

Shares that changed hands jumped to 2,014,200 with Aluworks selling 2,014,200 and four others selling the rest.

Market capitalisation was lower at 91,920.54 from 91,920.91 billion cedis from 3,393.18 million issued shares.
