Kwahu East DCE To Provide 2,500 Desks For Basic Schools To Enhance Teaching And Learning

Some basic schools within the Kwahu East district will soon benefit from 2,500 school desks as assured by the District Chief Executive of the area, Hon. Isaac Agyapong.

The DCE of the district made this known during the Maiden ‘Head Teachers Performance Contract' Meeting, organized by the District Education Directorate at Pepease on Wednesday 23rd January, 2019. Delivering his address, Hon. Isaac Agyapong stated that, he is aware of the difficulties the basic schools in the district face in relation to the unavailability of school Desks. Hence his decision to provide them with 2,500 school desks.

He assured the gathering that by the End of February 2019, the desks will be handed over to the Directorate for distribution to the various handicapped Schools within the Kwahu East District.

He further stated that in as much as He and the Member of Parliament for the area are happy with the recent improvements in examination results, they are still looking up to better performance in the year 2019 and beyond.

To show their gratitude to the DCE, the head teachers gave a standing ovation with a round of applause which brought smiles on the face on the DCE, Hon. Isaac Agyapong.
