Ahmed's Murder: NPP Germany Blasts NDC Over Double-Standard Politics
23.01.2019 LISTEN

The NPP Hamburg Chapter of the Germany Branch extend its condolence to the family of Ahmed Hussein-Sule who was gruesomely murdered on Wednesday 16 January 2019.

Ahmed was an associate of investigative journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas (Tiger Eye PI)

The NDC Minority in Parliament, who are known by Ghanaians as Press Conferences Parliamentarians, has come out with a Press Conference insisting that the Assin Central Member of Parliament Hon. Ken Agyapong should be arrested over the murder of Ahmed Hussein-Sule.

The Minority concludes that Hon Agyapong appears to bear some criminal responsibility for the death of Ahmed.

Before the Minority Press Conference, the NDC with a Statement signed by the General Secretary, stated that the Security Apparatus should not use Ken Agyapong as a scapegoat. The statement continued to caution against the mere scapegoating of Ken Agyapong as a ruse to cover up a potentially more sinister plot behind this killing and a call on our security agencies to ensure the speedy prosecution of the perpetrators of this cowardly act.

We ask the NDC, what has happened that has necessitated this U-turn. The NDC want to make this issue political, and as a Party, cannot manage sentiments with maturity and intelligence.

When the brother of Hon Collins Dauda, who was a Minister under the NDC government, said we will kill human beings everyday, the NDC Members of Parliament kept quite. There have been barbaric killings in Ghana, yet the NDC Parliamentarians didn't hold a Press Conference.

According to the NDC, before the death of Ahmed, Ken Agyapong instigated the public to beat him for monetary reward. The truth is that, Ken Agyapong didn't say Ahmed must be killed. He said if he came to his Net 2 premises, then he should be beaten. Which means if he doesn't come there, he has nothing to do with him. The NDC Parliamentarians and Communicators should allow the law to take its course than to turn themselves to be Police Officers. Ghanaians must be serious and see the leaders of the NDC and who they are.

It is surprising that US Congressman Henry Calvin Johnson is asking for the arrest of Hon Ken Agyapong, whereas at his own backyard, the President of the US Donald Trump, has openly declared his support to the Saudi Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman who masterminded the killing of the Saudi journalist Jamel Khassoghi.

Honestly it won't be surprised if this is an inside job.

The way Anas and his Lawyer Agyaben are reporting on this issue is suspicious, they are distracting the Police.

A former member of the Tiger Eye PI who has been very close to the murdered Ahmed Hussein-Sule, has been granted Police protection, following threats on his life by his former team members of Tiger Eye PI.

It is clear that somebody deep within this murder, is trying hard and cleverly to divert attention of the murder of Ahmed.

Aside Ken Agyapong, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Police, has invited Kwasi Nyantakyi, the former GFA boss, and Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

President Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo has tasked the Police to bring to book the perpetrators of this crime.
