As the dreams and expectations of Ghanaians faded under H.E John Mahahma because of economic hardships, high taxes and high tariffs, Nana Addo then presidential candidate stood out as the beacon of hope to the dying and hopeless Ghanaians, that Ghanaians might yet find a rout to the promise Land we ones imagined. Nana Addo was classified as the second Messiah. He potrayed himself as the outstanding leader whose personal ability, integrity and and lifestyle shaply contradicts all the corruption, economic hardships high taxes, high tariffs for which JM was tagged. Everyone liked Nana Addo for his sweet words for Ghanaians and desliked JM.

Today, Ghanaians anthem "is had I known". Sometimes some of us call this predicament a curse. Some call it a punishment from God.

How will you call it?

Today, the issue about mensgold and other financial institutions have left thousands of questions in the minds of the ordinary Ghanaians about this government.

Our elders say that if your chicken is attacked by a hawk you first recue it before you blame and attack the hawk.

If in animal's kingdom they have a sense of belongingness to each other how much more we humans?

It was astonishing to read from the government that, he is not going to use taxes payer's money for mensgold customers whose government has deliberately stopped from operating.

My questions:

Who are the tax payer?

Are they different from the mengold customers?

I believe the answer is "no

Was mensgold not able to pay it's customers before this sudden eventuality?

I believe it's " no

If that is the case why should government stop the company from operating?

It's believed that the company is operating illegally, but government allowed it to perform it's social responsibilities?

Speaking to some customers in kasoa, mensgold had really helped a lot of them.

What I have learned:

Honestly speaking, this government is selfish, visionless wicked, clueless and hopeless.

It doesn't think of the ordinary Ghanaian.

It is indicated that mensgold business activities is rather benefiting the ordinary Ghanaian instead of the government. People prefer depositing in mensgold because of it's 10% interest at the end of the month. Do you see how government is selfish?

Do you now see the clearest different between NDC government NPP government?

The previous government may have known this is what mensgold was doing, but it didn't collapse it because it knew it was helping the ordinary Ghanaian. My assumption.

In my humble opinion a responsible government should rather find the way for the mensgold customers to get their money because the CEO has not defrauded anybody, but for the government to issue a statement that tax payers' money is not going to settle for that, it's rather unfortunate and loose talk.Ghanaians demand apologies from the government.
