The Unspeakable And The Callous Gruesome Murder Of Ahmed Hussein Suale

I have vowed not to put something on paper for a while for reasons best known to everybody including those who heard what happened to me few weeks ago when i took on the western North secretariat for engaging, in an unconstitutional act which was akin to an absolute abrogation of the 1992 constitution of the Republic of Ghana. I can no longer hold my fire because iam deeply affected and saddened.

The murder of Ahmed Husein Suale comes as a shock to some of us who are staunch admirers of conscious activism and positive anti corruption crusade.

We are told that, he was shot dead on his way to the house by an unknown assailant. This is indeed a test case for Ghana police service and other state security agencies to prove their competence and fairness in so far as this case is concerned in the area of proper investigation for the purpose of bringing the perpetrators of this heinous crime to book for justice to prevail.

Cases of such nature have happened in the past and till now, the law hasnt been activated properly to ruthlessly deal with those behind such criminal acts. The murder of a sitting MP, late J.B Dankwah in 2015 is still fresh in our memories and as we speak, even the committal stage of the case is still lingering in court. The laxity with which our state institutions paid by the ordinary tax payer do handle such cases can best be described as a *SHAM*.

Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his team came under serious attacks after exposing the deep seated corruption that engulfed The Ghana football Association led by Kwesi Nyantakyi. Some of us were forced to form a coalition purposely to defend the tigereye PI team based on our own unadulterated conviction(s). Few days after the airing of the most controversial investigative piece dubbbed #12, The Hon.Member of parliament was on record to have openly declared war on the entire tigereye P1 team. As if that wasnt enough, he went ahead to flood social media with pictures of some of the core members of the team with the sole aim to expose them to harm associated with danger.

In view of the above and in line with sound reasoning, one would wonder the motive behind Ken's subtle attempt(s) soly placed on an agenda to unmask key investigators of the team. clearly, it was premised on an agenda to expose the team to all manner of attacks and the recent gruesome murder of Ahmed Husein Suale is not an exception. Again the words of kennedy Agyapong makes him the first suspect who should be invited by the CID of the Ghana police service for serious interrogations.

We cannot overlook the fact that, Ken was the first person who called for the"hanging of Anas" on net2 tv after he called on everybody to subject the gentleman to torture where ever they see him after putting Ahmed Hussein Suale's pictures out.

I am by this calling on civil society organisations, The Ghana journalists Association and every single admirer of Anti corruption to rise up and put pressure on institutions of state to initiate full investigation into this matter as an exceptional case. This is an attack on journalism and must not be allowed to die naturally.
