Members of the Calvary Charismatic Center in Kumasi are eagerly awaiting a visit by renowned preacher Dr. Mensa Otabil to their church.

The church according it's senior pastor, Rev Ransford Obeng always receive something powerful from God through Dr. Otabil and are hence ecstatic whenever he accepts to visit them.

Addressing the media in Kumasi to herald the visit of Dr. Otabil whom the church holds in high esteem, Rev. Obeng noted that he believes he is in a better position now than ever to speak to them.

Undoubtedly, this was in strong defense of the hullabaloo that surrounded the closure of the First Capital bank which Dr. Otabil was chairman of its Board. He has since been through difficult times defending himself.

But Rev Obeng believes the challenges the revered preacher went through last year qualifies him even more to teach members of the CCC, and people of Kumasi how not to do certain things in life.

"He is better prepared because every challenge a true man of God passes through makes him better. He has faced challenges last year and that is why I think he is better prepared to speak to each and everyone and that's why I invited him.

... I believe if there is a man in Ghana that God has endowed with wisdom and ability to help us in any crisis, having experienced it himself, and understands the situation, my good brother Dr. Otabil is best placed". He noted proudly.

The CCC pastor who has been known over the years for his frankness said the teachings members of the church have received every year from God through Dr. Otabil has really helped shaped their lives.

Many people across the Ashanti regional capital are also yearning to visit the church as this would be an opportunity to hear Dr. Otabil himself speak in Kumasi after going through a difficult yet refining 2018.

The program which starts from Friday, January 18 at half past five, to Sunday January 20, 2019 at half past eight in the morning is therefore tipped to seat more than the usual attendants at the church.
