Opinion Shambolic Attempt By The Kwabre East MP To Hoodwink Constituents Shameful And Insulting
JAN 17, 2019 LISTEN

I have realised the attempts by the Member of Parliament for Kwabre East Constituency to shamefully hoodwink constituents into believing that she is indeed working when we all acknowledge that it is purely the opposite. This is primarily due to the imminent parliamentary primaries of the New Patriotic Party. I find this rather disingenuously shameful and an insult to the good people of Kwabre East who elected Hon. Francisca Oteng to represent us in parliament.

Like the super incompetent NPP government that has rendered itself clueless as to how to govern the country, I had expected very less of the MP but not in my wildest imagination did I foresee Hon. Francisca stoop this low to seek to perpetuate a gargantuan scam on us in an attempt to earn our mandate for a second term in parliament.

After more than 2 years of neglect and worsening of our plight, our MP decided to rather invite media houses, hire a grader and “act a scene” to depict that she was actually shaping the very bad roads in the Kwabre East constituency. To make matters worse, she claimed that all the roads in the communities within the Municipality were being fixed and repeated the same palpable falsehood that construction of some roads will commence in earnest. Hon. MP, we have heard this same joke for the past 2 years and so NEXT JOKE PLEASE!

We understand that the government’s failure to live up to the hype coupled with the below par performance of the MCE means Hon. Francisca will face stiff opposition during their party primaries and hence, the desperate attempt to look good in the eyes of her polling station executives. However, such insulting inferior gymnastics should not be visited on the constituency that gave the MP over 70,000 votes.

Kwabre East is tired of the mediocre leadership successive NPP MPs have delivered and so when the opportunity to shift the paradigm in favour of a development oriented NDC MP is presented in the 2020 elections, I trust the good people of Kwabre East to send a very clear message to the NPP that we cannot continue to be taken for granted and that ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Signed
Sawadogo Mahmoud
