The Next Yaa Naa Must Come From The Abudu Gate In Line With The Rotational System

My brother, first we must accept that this time is for Abudus. If it will take weeks to get an Abudu to qualify, so be it. And if we must violate the custom a bit to get the Bolinlana enskinned as Mionlana or Karigalana, that is after the funerals of the Kariga lana and Mionlana, so be it. Afterall, we have never had a Gbonlana enskin somebody to a gateskin, but Kampakuya Naa did the unprecedented thing by enskinning the Savelugu Naa.

By the way, what are the implications of Savelugu Naa's enskinment as next Yaa Naa after Naa Nakubu? What are its implications to peace and stability of Dagbon?

1. We would have set aside a Supreme Court's system of order of rotation of the Yani skin between Abudus and Andanis. The wisdom of the Judges would have been rubbished.

2. Our old ways of struggle for Yani would have returned.

3. There is no order again about any gateskin ie it would not matter any more whether you are on a gateskin or not, you ascend the Yani skin from anywhere because the gateskin argument is based on the Supreme Court's order.

4. Dagbon would experience more instability than ever because we would then be living in a banana republic.

5. The charge of 'murder' of Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani on Abudus would have been indirectly accepted against the Wuako Commission's Report, the Court rulings, and eyewitness accounts by people including Andani Warriors like Achiana would have been set aside. Have we found new evidence of 'murder' charge on Abudus? Bring it on us. The 2002 event was a war started by the late Naa Yakubu after he brought so many warriors to Yendi and he thought they could defeat the Abudus. The first casuality was An Abudu. Refer to Justice Apau's and Martin Amidu's statements somewhere in 2012 and 2015. Even in NDC regime, they all came to accept the fact that "Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani died in a war". Can there be murderers of somebody in a war situation? Can we find the killers of some of the Dagomba chiefs in the 1994 Konkomba war and charge them with murder?

The last Yaa Naa was an Andani, the next must be an Abudu, in keeping with the rotational system.

7. Any death casualties now and forever must be charged on Nana Addo and Otumfuo for destroying Dagbon beyond repairs.

8. It is simply absurd, logic defying to push for the Savelugu Naa, an Andani, to be enskinned by the kingmakers of Dagbon.

9. Otumfuo would not be fair to the Abudus because the last Abudu on Mion gateskin was Mionlana Ziblim Yakubu. The Otumfuo and the Andani family did not allow the Abudus to perform the funeral of the late Yaa Naa Mahamadu Abdulai IV because they knew the skin was now for the Abudus. Why wait until Mionlana Ziblim Yakubu passed on, and then Kampakuya Naa violated the whole roadmap to peace for 13 years including enskinning the Savelugu Naa and you are now pushing for the illegal Savelugu Naa to be next Yaa Naa?
