Heritage Christian College (HCC) has been granted Institutional Re-accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for 5 years.

A letter signed by the Ag. Executive Secretary of the National Accreditation Board, Dr. Kingsley Nyarko said, "The National Accreditation Board, at its 115th meeting held from 13th to 14th December, 2018, approved the grant of 5 (five) years' institutional re-accreditation to Heritage Christian College, Accra to continue its operations as a private tertiary education institution in Ghana with effect from 1st April, 2018 to 31st March 2023."

Heritage Christian College, a university located in a serene environment in Amasaman, Accra, was first accredited in April 2015 to operate for 3 years. In 2018, the National Accreditation Board reviewed its operations and granted a 5-year Institutional Re-accreditation to the university. This follows a very rigorous holistic exercise that assessed the physical infrastructure, distinctive offers, library facilities and resources, financial standing, faculty and staff, student enrollment among others.

HCC is affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) which awards its degrees. HCC offers Bachelor of Business Administration(options in Accounting, Marketing, Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, Business Information Technology Management); Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Theology.

The university envisions "To become the flagship Christian University in Africa for the purpose of advancing the kingdom of Christ and national development." It espouses the core values of Entrepreneurship, Philanthropy, Ethics and Global Competence. HCC students demonstrated these core values on the global stage in 2018 by winning the Grand Prize in the Global Social Innovation Challenge held in the University of San Diego, USA. The world-wide competition involved 50 teams from 27 universities from 12 countries on 6 continents.
