The Tema District Pastor of the Great Commission Church International (GCCI), Reverend Paul Morgan Adorsu has urged Christians to begin to fight greed and selfishness in society.

He said greed and selfishness often brought destructions upon people and society at large.

Rev Adorsu made the appeal in his homily at the December 31st Watch Night Service of GCCI Maranatha Assembly at Kanawu in the Tema West Municipality; on the theme, "Imitating Christ's Leadership".

He noted that every Christian must learn how to be a blessing to other people, especially the poor and the vulnerable in society.

"Don't be a selfish Christians. Be an instrument of blessings to other people," Rev Adorsu stated.

He also appealed to Christians to be strong and courageous, because God was ahead of them to fulfil his promises towards them.

He urged Christians to humble themselves to the authority of the word of God and to learn how to practice their faith wherever they found themselves.

Rev Adorsu reminded Christians that Christ had given them the Great Commission to go out and make disciples of all nations.
