The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Diaspora supporters Union is calling for immidiate resignation of chairperson of Electoral Commission of Ghana, Mrs. Jean Mensah for her open love towards the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Recently Mrs. Jean Mensah was sighted in a widely circulated video parting at a purely partisan NPP female appointees event organized by the Hon. Foreign Minister Shirley Ayorko Botwe.

We take a serious displeasure of her open fractality with NPP and punctualities at such partisan events.

Why is the chairperson of Ghana's Electoral Commission always punctual at every single function organized by the NPP?

Her open and flagrant display of love and affection for the NPP must not be glossed over. This is not a neutral character. Her unprofessional conduct is not acceptable and must not be entertained.

We supporters of NDC in the diaspora don’t trust her to organize a free, fair and credible elections in 2020. We are fully aware that she was only appointed by President Akufo Addo to the position to execute the NPP’s agenda; to rig the 2020 general elections.

We called on our mother party (NDC), to mobilize the masses to agitate for the removal of this bias character from the EC to safeguard our young and fragile democracy from the clutches of evil politicians.

Images of the multiple voting being done at this referendum make us confirm that this EC Chairperson will be the panic button to be hit hard to hurt Ghana's democracy.

Time to act for her removal is now!

Signed: Seth K. Addi
