Private-owned,, non-profit primary health care outfit , Standout Care has won the “Health Business of the Year” award at the 2018 FN Business Awards annual awards.

The scheme was instituted to honor and celebrate growing Ghanaian businesses, start-ups, and individuals making meaningful impacts, creating an enabling environment for economic growth, and solving societal problems.

This year's event, the second edition successfully took place on 15th December 2018 at the Golf Suite Hotel in Accra, announcing StandOut Care as winner of the Startup Health Business of the Year among 20 other categories.

The organization started in 2016 as a non profit group of health practitioners founded and led by a young physician, activist and entrepreneur Patrick Fynn, who saw the need to make healthcare accessible to destitute groups and remote communities.

Since then, the enterprise has been one of the go-to-points for community health programs such as medical screening, public health education, prison outreaches etc.

Providing such services as counseling, blood pressure checks, mass deworming, breast cancer screening, eye assessment, dietary counseling, blood test for malaria, hepatitis, HIV/AIDS etc, the group uses professionals in various cadres of healthcare to administer care that has impacted many Ghanaians over the years.

StandoutCare has been a contributor to the provision of primary care, support and promotion of sustainable development on health and well-being.
