It Is Never True, That Nkoranza Chiefs Have Sold BONO EAST REGION--MCE

At a mini rally campaign held on the creation of the new Bono East region at DONKRO NKWANTA in the Nkoranza South Municipality, the Hon. Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa the MCE of the area debunked allegations that the Traditional Leaders of Nkoranza have sold the Bono East Region to the government.

The creation of the Bono East region has been met with all kinds of opposition even as the 27th December, 2018 Referendum draws closer.

Against this background, the Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa, has urged the people of Donkro Nkwanta and its areas to go out massively to campaign and also get familiar with the details of the upcoming referendum.

She made them to understand the importance of creation of the new region so far as the Bono East is concerned.

She further argued that the creation of the Bono East region will go a long way to bring development to the people of Nkoranza especially, the Donkro Nkwanta Community.

Nana Obrempong Owusu-Akyew, the Chief of Donkro Nkwanta, on his part, applauded the Municipal Chief Executive for her intelligence and the support for the Bono East.

Nana Owusu-Akyew, who is also the chairman of the Donkro Nkwanta Bono East Campaign team, appealed to the people in their large numbers to come together to vote massively in favour of its creation.
