Philanthropist Rallies Support For Ghana Beyond Aid

A Philanthropist and an Assembly Member of Brenuakyim Electoral Area in the TARKWA Nsuaem Municipal of the Western Region , Honourable Kingsley Edmund Baidoo a.k.a Nana Kwame is calling on the wealthy individuals in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality to support the Government efforts in achieving *Ghana beyond aid* agenda by supporting vulnerable Youth in their communities in apprenticeship training.

He said " let use our Windows mite to compliment Government's efforts to build a Ghana Beyond Aid through apprenticeship training" which he said is a key to the success of the agenda.

"It is good to teach the vulnerable Youth how to fish rather than giving them fish, he added.

Hon. Baidoo continued that *Ghana beyond aid* agenda is only achievable if the Youth in society are empowered to develop their own skills through apprenticeship that will enable them establish their own business which will not make them dependents on Government's aid which will eventually lead to a drastic decrease in pressure on the Government.

Mr Kingsley Edmund Baidoo was speaking to over hundreds of Youth in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality whom he and the Mce for Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipal, Honourable Gilbert Ken Asmah supported to graduate from ASEDA FOUNDATION INSTITUTE in Sekondi Takoradi in a vocational and technical skills training in areas of their choices.

The pass out apprentices were supported with kits and initial capital to assist them establish their own shops .

The beneficiary apprentices paid s visit to him this week after successfully passing out from the INSTITUTE with certificates .

Hon Baidoo who is also the Chairman of the Municipal Sports UNIT in Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality advised the youth to take apprenticeship training serious since the white coloured jobs are now scarce in Ghana

He appealed to the vulnerable Youth to take the advantage of this program which was instituted by Honourable Gilbert Ken Asmah in 2017 immediately he was confirmed overwhelmingly by the Assembly.

In an interview with him on TARKWA he said he saw the Mce as a man with VISION whom if supported will move TARKWA NSUAEM MUNICIPALITY beyond aid and to a higher level hence his support for the Youth to undergo the training.

He commended the Mce for his vision and appeal the general public to emulate him by supporting these VULNERABLE YOUTH to earn a skill and own a business WHICH will go a long way to eradicate vices in TARKWA.
