Bawku Presbyterian Hospital Receives Crutches From Minister

The Bawku Presbyterian Hospital in the Upper East region, has received 10 crutches to support general health delivery and particularly, patients with walking difficulties.

The cructhes were donated to the hospital by Madam Paulina Patience Abayage, the Upper East Regional Minister.

The minister, speaking at the presentation ceremony said good health was important to human resource and that she would ensure health facilities in the region get adequate material to provide quality health service.

She said it was government's priority to provide the people with quality health services, adding that, Drones would soon deliver essential health services to the door steps of the people.

The Minister commended the Presbyterian hospital for contributing to health service delivery in the area.

Madam Alima Seidu, the Matron of the hospital, who received the items, said the donation came at a time the hospital needed such equipment and they would be put to good use.

She commended the Regional Minister and government for their continuous support to the health sector and called on stakeholders and other development partners to support policies that are aimed at boosting the health sector.
