Ghana Oil Company Ltd (GOIL), has reduced fuel prices at all its retail outlets from Gh¢5.10 to Gh¢4.98.

Super XP and Diesel XP has been reduced respectively. The reduction, which is in line with the drop in international Petroleum prices and relative stability of the Cedi takes effect from Sunday, December 2, 2018.

The Public Relations Manager of GOIL, Mr. Robert Kyere said the reduction is also aimed at appreciating the patronage of Ghanaians which has resulted in the numerous awards and successes chalked this year.

GOIL for third year running was adjuged CIMG PETROLEUM COMPANY OF THE YEAR. GIPC's Ghana Club 100 listings also ranked GOIL the Number 2 Company in Ghana, the 'Third Largest company' and the 'Second Best Listed Company'. GOIL also just won Ghana Energy Awards' 'Energy Company of the Year.'

"GOIL is the 'benchmark for fuel Pricing in Ghana and we shall continue to play that critical role to ensure that Ghanaians get the best and most competitive prices," he stated.

Mr. Kyere assures Ghanaians that GOIL will continue to deliver the highest quality of fuel and service to customers.

To this end, he said the company has acquired a mobile Laboratory Van fully equipped with Eraspec Analyzer for checking fuel quality at all GOIL stations.

Mr. Kyere stressed that GOIL retail outlets are also equipped with Retail Price Automation Systems and Automatic Tank Gauging Systems to reduce human interventions and ensure effective monitoring of sales activities.

According to him, customers who patronize GOIL products are therefore assured of value for money as it continues to reward them in its nationwide " Efie ne Fie" promotion.
