BRONG AHAFO EAST - The Municipal Chief Executive for Nkoranza South,Hon Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa and her team(technocrats),Municipal Coordinating director, stores officer, planning officer, internal auditor and the personnel officer engaged all the store/shop owners and the traders in the Nkoranza Municipality to discussed a way forward of removal of their shops for open ups roads and the starting of new building of ultramodern market as well as Ghana Revenue Authority, Value Added Tax(VAT),and Internal Revenue Authority how there are going to grab their Internal Generated Fund(IGF) since they want the Bono East Region.

The Municipal Chief Executive, madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa made it clear to the traders that, the Assembly will make sure to build the local economy and the seconded by the internal auditor, moreover, to improve the municipal economy, unless they(traders) agreed to the Assembly rules and regulations contrary to the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

According to the Internal auditor for Nkoranza municipality, because there's no database, everything goes to their Sister municipality (Techiman).

Revenue officer continued educates the traders to register on VAT, if they refuse to register the VAT they can't work with any good businesses.

The Municipal Chief Executive added that the registration of business is very important to every trader, especially the VAT.

Been good citizens, the traders should do well to pay the revenue dues, while not to compare themselves to Techiman, because the development of Nkoranza municipality as to agree and support the Assembly to do well to pay their revenue.

Madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa (Hon). made it clear to them to notes of that, the President, Nana Addo has awarded the ultramodern market for about six(6)districts and Nkoranza South Municipal is one of them and Nkoranza is going to be the first.

Finally, through the much discussion with the traders by the MCE, the traders were really appreciated the coming of the new market and the open up roads had been the main headlock of the Nkoranza municipality.

According to the planning officer, the cost of the new market is one hundred and twenty-one million Ghana cedis(GHc 121) and it's going to start by 4th January 2019

And the open ups roads is 17kilometers

The Municipal Chief Executive, Madam Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa (Hon) gave a great thanks to the traders for their attended the call of the Assembly and their acceptance.

And finally warned them(traders) to make sure to remove their contains (shops/stores) before 4th December if they really want the betterment of Nkoranza to any place they wish as far as the new market is concern.
