Kumasi Asante Kotoko has confirmed they will be playing Togolese side Koroki Tchamba Metete in a friendly match this Sunday, November 18 at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
The Kumasi based club are stepping up preparations to get their team in shape for their participation in the next edition of the CAF Confederations Cup Competition which commences late this month.
After playing several local friendly matches, the club has been looking forward to engaging a foreign club on the continent to test their strength.
In a Twitter post, Kotoko has confirmed Koroki Tchamba Metete as the club they will face this Sunday.
The Porcupine Warriors will be the only Ghanaian side featuring in any continental competition in the next campaign. They are determined to prepare very well to put up a good show as they look to win a continental trophy in the shortest possible time.
The rate for Sunday’s match has also been confirmed with the Popular stand and Centerline going for a cool GH¢8 whiles the VIP section will go for GH¢15.
The match has been scheduled for a 3pm kickoff time and Coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor will lead his side to test their strength before the CAF Confederations Cup starts.
