Three women in court for breaching public peace

Fiapre, (B/A) Nov.4, GNA- Three persons appeared before Fiapre Circuit Court near Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region for allegedly breaching public peace.

Afia Serwaa, 22, Faustina Antwi 22, and Sophia Boateng, 18, pleaded not guilty and were granted 10 million cedis bail each, with a surety and are to reappear on November 14.

Prosecuting, Police Chief Inspector Samuel Amoani told the court presided over by Mr Owusu Gyamfi that Afia visited a friend at a poultry farm near Susuano and was attacked by and Sophia and Faustina. He said Sophia later used a sharp object to inflict wounds on Afia.

Both Afia and Sophia who was slightly injured reported the incidence to the Police and were given medical forms to attend hospital, where they were treated and discharged.
