Head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah has called on Kevin Prince Boateng to apologize to Ghanaians in order to earn a call-up back to the team.

The US Sassuolo midfielder has been out of the national team colours after he was thrown out from the camp of the Black Stars during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

After the team's abysmal display at the Mundial, a commission of inquiry was commissioned to enquire what led to the country's early exit from the competition.

Sulley Muntari and Kevin Prince Boateng who were asked to leave the camp of the team were asked to apologize to the country for their unacceptable behaviour exhibited during the tournament.

However, Sulley Muntari, who is currently clubless has apologized to the country but Kwesi Appiah has called on the Sassuolo forward to apologize to earn a call-up to the national team.

"Kevin Prince Boateng is a Ghanaian and he is playing well," he said.

If you look at our striking department, we cannot always count on Asamoah Gyan but after 2014 commission of inquiry he [Kevin Prince Boateng] and Sulley Muntari were asked to apologize to Ghanaians.

"Sulley has done that, so if Kevin Prince Boateng apologizes, I will invite him," he added.
