Akim Adasewase (E/R), Oct. 26, GNA - The chief of Akim Adasewase in the Atiwa District, Osabarima Kwame Tia II, on Wednesday presented a computer and its accessories to the local Presbyterian JSS at a short ceremony.

Presenting the items, Osabarima Kwame Tia, noted that at this computer age it was important for all students to acquire knowledge about computer use so that they could fit into the new computer age. He explained that it was his desire that students from his community should be abreast with other students in various institutions in computer literacy and pledged to make similar donations to other schools in the community.

The chief advised the students to avoid negative tendencies that retarded their progress in education.

Osabarima Tia asked parents to be mindful of the welfare and education of their wards since they would be the future leaders of the country.

Receiving the donation, the Headteacher Mr Herbert Nkodzi thanked Osabarima Kwame Tia for his kind gesture and promised that the computer would be put to good use.
