The citation handed to the Head of Digital Media at Citi FM/TV, Mawuli Tsikata, read: “you remained an entrenched one-stop-shop platform for all media-related activities even as you avail listeners with news stories on their smartphones.”

The citation also commended Citi FM for commanding 11 percent of the digital media space, but still making efforts to “be a domineering figure in that terrain.”

The citation continued “in the year under review, you manged to chalk over 1.1 million likes on Facebook and 740,000 likes on Twitter, which marks a remarkable progress in the last count. In the year under review, you topped a list of 10 most influential radio stations on social media.”
