President of vibrant Pressure group IMANI Africa, Mr. Franklin Kudjoe has urged flag bearer hopefuls of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to desist from personal attacks and present their business plans which they will use for the development of the country’s economy if they are given the mandate.

Franklin Kudjoe made this call on the flag bearer aspirants today whiles speaking at the campaign dialogue series during the launch of a book authored by Dr. Etse Sika Anku of Class Media Group.

According to the president of IMANI Africa, personal attacks and name callings going on amongst the aspirants is not necessary. Hence his call on the aspirants to rather channel their energy to prepare and present their business plans for the development of the economy of the country.

Franklin Kudjoe quizzed; “What are their business plans?” and continued “I will like to start hearing conversations about their business plans not just because maybe the NPP may be failing in certain aspects like the communication ministry cooking up all kinds of deals but we also want to understand what the NDC has install for us when it comes to their business plans”

He further stated that every country should be run like a corporate entity. Not with all the boardroom drama which you can find a lot in politics but there must be a sense that if a country has a set amount of resources you don’t keep making unrealistic promises.

“We also need to understand that it is important for leaders to tell us how much they can add to the country’s stock of resources. He opines that that is how he defines resources and if a presidents inherits a certain amount of resources he or she should be able to tell how they are going to use it to build the economy”, Franklin Kudjoe added.

He believes if all we are going to hear like we have started hearing is about who is sexier than the other then he is not sure we will move forward.

Over ten aspirants are currently going around the country to convince delegates to vote for them to lead the NDC in the 2020 general election. The party’s national delegate’s conference is slated for December this year.
