THE RULING New Patriotic Party (NPP) is scheduled to hold a joint National Executive Committee (NEC) and National Council meeting today.
A statement issued by the General Secretary of NPP, John Boadu, yesterday in Accra, indicated that the meeting is to, among other things, confirm appointments of deputy national officers of the party.
It said the meeting shall come off at the party's Asylum Down headquarters in Accra at about 11am.
DAILY GUIDE learnt that two deputies each are to be confirmed for the positions of National Organizer, National Youth Organizer, National Women Organizer, among others.
The deputies are to support the officers elected for the above mentioned national positions during the NPP's 26th annual delegates’ conference held on July 7, 2018 in Koforidua, the Eastern regional capital.
