Seven persons have been injured in a gory accident at Anloga Onion Market in the Oforikrom Municipality of the Ashanti Region.

Out of the seven, 4 were women selling onion with 1 little child of the one of the sellers and the 2 were in the car.

Toyota camery with registration number GC 394 - 13 pass through the traders selling onion at the market when the driver suspected failed break.

Kwabena Frimpong Manso (KFM) of Atinka media village who visited the scene spoke to one trader who survived from the accident called Mariam. "I saw the car coming and I taught the driver will park and buy some of the onion, when i realized it was a break failure I run back and saw it passing through the four", she narrated.

Two are in critical condition and have been transferred from Tech hospital to Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

The fatal accident comes in less than months after about 5 injured in a similar accident at the Anloga junction traffic light.

The police who have visited the scene to take measurements are yet to brief the media on the incident.
