Dizengoff Ghana Limited has donated an amount of GH¢10,000 to Agrihouse Foundation in support of the 8th edition of the annual Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition and Conference.

This year's exhibition is scheduled to take place in Tamale from 3-5 October, 2018.

Strategic Alliance/Projects Lead for Agrihouse Foundation, Yoki Tee-Koduah, received the cheque from Dizengoff Ghana Country Manager, Mark Douglas on Tuesday in Accra.

The Pre-Harvest Agribusiness Exhibition and Conference is a business forum and an interventional platform that provides opportunities for various value chain actors in the agriculture sector of Ghana to meet, discuss business and work as a coherent team.

The goal is to ensure that enough food is available locally for consumption, thereby reducing drastically Ghana's food importation bill.

Farmers, public and private sector business officials and others are expected to attend the exhibition, which Dizengoff Ghana has been part of since 2016.

The company pledged to continue to support agribusiness in Ghana.

General Manager of Dizengoff Ahmad Hashemi told journalists that the choice of Tamale for the exhibition was based on the peculiar challenges faced by the three northern regions such as drought.

Dizengoff Ghana ltd, a subsidiary of Balton CP Ltd in England, has been operating in Ghana for over 54 years, providing integrated solution in the fields of Communication, Infrastructure, Energy, Agriculture and Public Health.

Dizengoff's experience and expertise in providing integrated solutions and products has made it a one-stop-shop for customers to meet their needs.
