No Injunction On The Investiture And Induction Of Rev. Prof. Anthony Afful- Broni

The attention of the GRASAG-UEW has been drawn to a miserable reportage in the public domain "claiming" that an injunction has been secured to suspend the pending investiture and induction of Rev.Prof.Anthony Afful Broni which is scheduled to take place On the 16th Of September, 2018.

The public is hereby informed to treat the said reportage with the necessary disdain it deserves. Let it be on record that,no court of competent jurisdiction in this country has placed an interlocutory injunction or whatsoever on the said event.GRASAG therefore finds it intriguing that,this misleading and outright falsehood is being peddled around.

This can best be described as a frustrated attempts by few disgruntled individuals whose aim is always to see UEW in limbo for the purpose of malice and mischief.

It is also instructive to note that, few months that Rev.Prof.Anthony Afful Broni has been acting as Vice chancellor, academic activities have moved on smoothly without hinderance.There exist peaceful co-existence as well as cordiality between lecturers,administrators and students. It is against this backdrop that,the vice chancellors Ghana congratulated Rev.Prof.Afful Broni on his appointment and confirmation as the Vice Chancellor of Uew.

We therefore through this medium invite the university community, students and Alumini to grace this memorable occassion as the university gets prepared to fortify the Revered learned professor as the 4th UEW Vice Chancellor.

We again congratulate Rev. Fr. Prof Anthony Afful- Broni on his appointment as the next Vice-Chancellor of University of Education, Winneba. We have known him and trust he will deliver.
