A leading member and outspoken communication member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Coffie has called on the party delegates to dump Johnson Asiedu Nketia as the party's General Secretary.

The party is to have its National Congress on November 3, 2018 to elect new national executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The party incumbent General Secretary, Asiedu Nketia is facing a stiffer opposition from his Deputy General Secretary, Koku Anyidoho and some political pundits have predicted the General Secretary position as crucial contest.

In a statement signed by Dela Coffie and copied to the media described Asiedu Nketia as a wasteful General Secretary hence needs to be crap out of godly politics.

"For decency sake, let's cut the crap out of our godly politics and demand accountability on "Mosquito's" stewardship", he said.

He opined that after the 2016 general elections under his leadership has failed to collate the party's results and commended the NPP party for collating its 2016 general election results.

"Till date, his leadership is yet to come out with the NDC's collated results of the 2016 General Elections, something the then opposition NPP put together in less than 6 hours after close of poll on December 7, and yet he’s still urging himself on and folks are still right there with him", he emphasized.

He, however stated "It is astonishing to me that there are NDC folks who can support, ignore and accept all the chaos that this man has caused. No matter how much damning proof is trotted out, it won’t budge them".

General Secretary for life?
How on earth does this man keep it sane while arrogantly positing this crap that he will be NDC General Secretary for life?

For decency sake, let's cut the crap out of our godly politics and demand accountability on "Mosquito's" stewardship.

Till date, his leadership is yet to come out with the NDC's collated results of the 2016 General Elections, something the then opposition NPP put together in less than 6 hours after close of poll on December 7, and yet he’s still urging himself on and folks are still right there with him.

This is a man who was the Chairman of the NDC Campaign in 2016, lost 20 out of 29 Seats in Brong Ahafo Region including his own TAIN constituency.

If Mosquito is so disliked by his own Region and Constituency, what makes him feel so untouchable so much that he want to be GS for life?

It is astonishing to me that there are NDC folks who can support, ignore and accept all the chaos that this man has caused. No matter how much damning proof is trotted out, it won’t budge them.

In any event, what new ideas does he have to offer after being in the helm of affairs for 13-unacountable years?

And what is this confession from him that says he actually pledged to Koku Anyidoho that he will not contest for the fourth time but it is John Mahama who is forcing him to contest? Is this just a mere rhetoric or 'Mosquito' is out to settle scores with John Mahama?

Well, whatever it is, politicians must learn to leave the stage when the ovation is loudest. And whoever fails to decode this nuance is bound to suffer the "Nyantakyi syndrome."
