Ayew's Spokesperson Slams Black Stars Coach Kwesi Apiah; Insists He Is Not A Good Manager
The spokesperson for the Ayew family, Fiifi Tackie has descended heavily on the head coach of the Black Stars, Kwesi Appiah claiming that he is he has not helped resolve issues properly.
Jordan Ayew and Andre Ayew have not featured for the Black Stars since Ghana’s World Cup qualification first leg match against Congo Brazzaville in Kumasi which ended one apiece.
There has been reportage that Kwesi Appiah has not been impressed with the attitude of the Ayew brothers but the Fiifi Tackie says the coach has been not helpful in resolving issues.
"He [Kwesi Appiah] is a coach and not a manager," he told Accra based Atinka FM.
"We are not fighting Kwesi Appiah but what we're contending is the notion that Ayew brothers not been committed to Black Stars.
"A lot of Kwesi Appiah's remarks after the Ayews exclusion are purely insinuations.
"He cast insinuations at the players and we know," he added.
Kwesi Appiah snubbed the Ayew brothers ahead of the 2019 AFCON qualifiers.
