When is the Special Prosecutor Starting to Crack the Legal Whipon....?
04.09.2018 LISTEN

“Time and tide wait for no man”, so an adage goes. The Special Prosecutor is delaying too much to cracking the whip on the backs of the corrupt officials who have ruined Ghana. What is holding Mr Martin Amidu back?

At least, I know of the daylight robbery visited upon Ghana by Alfred Agbesi Woyome in complicit with Mrs Betty Mould-Iddrisu. Betty, a disgrace to womanhood and the womb that conceived her, has now opened widely her buccal cavity talking in condemnation of NPP as being super incompetent hence the need for NDC to reorganise to boot them out in 2020.

No wonder that she has the shameless audacity to be talking after collusively facilitating the swindling of Ghana out of GHC52 million by Afred Agbesi Woyome, because the Special Prosecutor is dilly dallying to swing into action. She wants to come back with her “create, loot and share” brigade to continue to inflict ear-splitting thieveries on Ghana again.

What is holding the Special Prosecutor back by giving so many known corrupt officials the time and space to not only talk balderdash but also, to saunter about freely with puffed-out chests in the streets of Ghana and to ride in luxury cars?

If the Special Prosecutor fails to deliver on his expected nation-saving policy, then the deemed Ghanaian cowards may have no other option than to get emboldened along the line to rescue Ghana from the hands of the few elites and opportunists voraciously ransacking the coffers of the State for their selfish interests.

Does the Special Prosecutor need a helping hand to carry the cane to start whacking the corrupt politicians, corrupt civil servants etc., to save the image of Ghana from further tarnishing as the country is reputed to abound in official thieves with the laws becoming toothless bulldogs and the courts white elephants?

Mr Martin Amidu, please let the whip crack to teach the Ghanaian it is not genial to steal or abuse your position when offered the chance to serve your country. I am impatiently waiting on you, Mr Martin Amidu, to let the legal whip crack “wham, wham” on the backs of the corrupt people that have caused financial losses to the State and to see them cry all along the way to the prisons where they should belong.

What is holding you back from springing into action, if I should ask once again? Have you also been advised by Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II to go it "softly, softly" as it is not by “buga buga” that you can stop corruption same as he is alleged to have advised His Excellency the President hence the President being a shadow of the strict and fearful person many people thought him to be?

Let the whip crack to see Alfred Agbesi Woyome and his ilk cry “bue, bue, bue” to their new prison destinations with the confiscation of their assets. I hope the Office of the Special Prosecutor is not a political gimmick but a serious innovation to fighting corruption, the bane of Ghana’s socio-economic emancipation.
