God Needs Factories, Jobs, Hospital Beds And Money For His Children Not National Cathedral

I will begin to say God has enough estates in Ghana and the money the government partially intends to use to sponsor, support or to aid the construction of the National Cathedral should be used to build factories for the teeming unemployed youths to get jobs or build toilets for every home to curb the rampant defecating in public places especially beaches in Ghana.

Does God need another home in Ghana, since he already has a lot of homes? Look at the churches scattered across the nation. Is it necessary for us as a nation to get another luxury home for God?

Is it an ideal for government Of Ghana to spend Tax payer’s money to aid the building of 5000 capacity Cathedral which cannot even hold up to 1% of the Christian population in Ghana?

Sometimes I see it very ridiculous to see our clergymen opposing the idea for churches to pay tax. Now these clergymen who are opposing this idea for churches to pay tax for national development are the same people who are proposing national Cathedral and for that matter they want government to support, aid and partially sponsor them from the national coffers.

Is building this cathedral for God that can solve our problem as a nation? Apparently the answer is NO because the money that government will use to invest in the building of the cathedral, can be used to build factories or can be pumped into the one-district one-factory project and by doing so can boost the level of employment in the country and the youths who seem to have no hope in life can gain some.

Our sanitation crisis is another problem we have to take a second look at. Most houses don’t have toilets due to that beaches and public places are used by the majority of people living at the coastal areas as a place of convenience.

Government of Ghana building a cathedral while people defecate in gutters, beaches thus making a lot of people die of malaria and cholera, do you think God will be happy sleeping in the cathedral while his children die?

Spending millions of cedis to build a home for God while his children cannot even eat three times a day do you think he will be happy about that?

People are dying at Korle Bu, 37 military hospital, Ridge Hospital due to limited beds available. Why can’t these clergymen instead of building the cathedral direct government to buy beds for those hospitals to save children of God?

Is building the cathedral a major problem that government of Ghana cannot do away with it and concentrate on agendas that will bring prosperity and development to our motherland?

To end my submission God does not need any bigger home before Ghana can prosper. God need jobs, factories, development and economic freedom for his children.

By government liberating us from financial bondage and poverty, I think God will be happy for that instead of building him a luxury home while his children are hungry and dying.
