MTN Ghana has donated GH¢20,000 to Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin educational fund during a courtesy call at his residence in Accra.

The donation is meant to boost the Okyehene of Akyem Abuakwa support towards the education of brilliant but needy students.

MTN also used the occasion to introduce the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Selorm Adadevor to Okyehene and leveraging on ways to further deepen the partnership between both institutions.

Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin expressed gratitude to MTN for the support and encouraged them to keep offering fast and reliable services to Ghanaians.

The Okyehene announced his 20th anniversary celebration on the throne scheduled in October this year.

The Chief Executive Officer of MTN, Mr Selorm Adadevor said the courtesy call was MTN's annual tradition of re-igniting their commitment and support to Okyehene's education fund.

He noted that the donation falls in line with MTN Ghana Foundation's educational support to underprivileged communities.

Mr. Adadevoh noted MTN will continue to introduce new technological innovations to increase the quality of their services to the benefit of Ghanaians.

The Corporate Services Executive of MTN Ghana, Mr Samuel Koranteng indicated that their visit to Osagyefo makes sense having noticed his contribution towards education.

He intimated that Osagyefo's educational fund is a well-established and confident it will improve education of children within and outside his territory.
