The Holy Rosary Catholic Church (HRCC) at Adentan, Accra recently organised a talk on “The Power of Giving” to inculcate the spirit of giving as the Church prepares to build a Mission House. It was part of activities to mark the 35th Anniversary of the Church.
Mr. Daniel Kwame Pobee, a Parishioner from St. Benedict Catholic Church, Ofankor, Accra, advised the Parishioners to generously give to the development of the Church especiallythe Church’s Mission House Project.
He urged them to give their time, skills, talents and financial resources for the growth of the Church, reminding them that “there are blessings and favour that comes with the act of giving.”
In a contribution, Rev. Fr. Eric Onai added that giving should be done in silence but cautioned that records should be kept for purposes of accountability and transparency.
In another development, the Sunday school children marked Children’s Day with Rhymes, Bible Verse Recitals and a drama by the Sunday School Children. The MTN-Ghana supported the two events with Souvenirs.
