WordDigest: Pray For All

WordDigest: Pray For All

"And the Lord made up to Job for all his losses, after he had made prayer for his friends: and all Job had before was increased by the Lord twice as much." [Job 42:10]

Amplified Bible
Job had three friends during his ordeal moments.
The friends were, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite.

Instead of encouraging Job not to give up on God, they did the opposite.

When God was about blessing Job, he commanded Job to pray for his friends.

Job didn't asked for anything personally though he prayed for his friends.

Since God knew his worry, out of prayer for his friends, God supplied his needs twice as much as he had before.

Narrowing to our lives, we may have friends who are either praying for or against us especially in troubling times.

That shouldn't inform our decision on who to pray for or against.

Pray for all that God should have mercy and bless them.

Your prayers for all should either bless or transform them by the power of the Holy Spirit.

As you intercede in prayers for all, so will the Holy Spirit mediate on your behalf.

Now and then, pray for your friends regardless of their stance .

God bless you
O God, have mercy on my friends all over the world. Guide them to the path of victory in the name of Christ Jesus, Amen.
