DI'S Forum On Current Banking Issues: A Step In The Right Direction - CTI

Critical Thinkers International (CTI) has come across an advert of a forum which is to happen on Wednesday, 22nd August, 2018 at the Botsio Hall of Alisa Hotel, Accra at 9:00 am on the theme "The Banking Clean Up: Are Depositors Safe?"

We have also taken notice that the forum which is to help address the current issues in the banking sector through bringing together of renowned banking, financial and legal experts such as Hon. Ken Ofori - Atta, Hon. Charles Adu - Boahen, Dr. Eric Osei - Assibey, Dr. Ebenezer Ashley and Lawyer Clara Kasser as speakers, is being organized by the Danquah Institute (DI), an ideological institute with the individual freedom, rule of law, multi-party democracy, liberal economics and equality of opportunity at the heart of its philosophy.

CTI finds this program by Danquah Institute very important and timely because of how necessary it has become for the clearance of the current doubts, fears and ignorance of the Ghanaian populace with respect to the current happenings in the banking sector.

CTI will therefore commend the Danquah Institute for embarking on such a great initiative of national importance, and will encourage other think tanks and ideological institutes to emulate same whenever similar brouhaha of national importance crop up in the future.

Moreover, we will like to assure DI of our full participation of the forum, and also encourage the various other Civil Service Organisations (CSO), think tanks, political and apolitical organizations and the general public to also hugely take part.
