NPP-UK Wishes Muslims A Happy Eid-Ul Adha

Asalamu Alaykum Our Dear Muslim Brethren,
The NPP UK on the occasion of Eid-ul Adha expresses our warmest greetings to all Moslem in the part, the Ghanaian community here in the UK and the across the globe.

Eid-ul Adha which connotes a Festival of Sacrifice is celebrated to commemorate one of the trials of the Prophet Ibrahim in his obedience to the command of Allah to sacrifice his son. Allah eventually intervened and instructed the Prophet to sacrifice a lamb instead of his son. The occasion marks the unquestionable faith and obedience exhumed by Prophet Ibrahim.

This occasion calls on all to renew their relationship with Allah and rededicated one’s self to Him. It’s a time to reflect the values espoused by Prophet Ibrahim such as Faith, Service to mankind, Selflessness and Giving. It is a moment to share what we have in appreciation of the blessings of Allah and strengthen the bond of friendship that exists among ourselves.

As you offer your prayers on Eid-ul Adha, I hope that the true spirit of this auspicious occasion fills your heart with happiness and good cheer. I on behalf of the Branch, wish you all a very happy and peaceful Eid-ul Adha. May Allah accept your good deeds, forgive your transgressions and sins and ease the suffering of all people around the globe. Have a blessed Eid-ul Adha.
