INTERCITY STC maintains old fares despite fuel price increase

Accra, Oct 7, GNA - The INTERCITY STC is to maintain its old fares in spite of the recent increase in fuel prices. A statement in Accra on Friday, signed by the Public Relations Officer, Mr. Kwabena Frimpong, on behalf of the management of the company said its customers are to buy tickets to any of its destinations nationwide at the same old fares.

It said this was the company's contribution in support of the Government's mass transportation effort and urged the people to use public transport to travel to save fuel and to decongest the country's roads.

The company also called on the travelling public to use the company's coaches to travel from Ghana to other countries in the West African sub-region
