The Silence of NPP diaspora branches is Deafening
15.08.2018 LISTEN

Over the past couple of months, Ghana our beloved country has witnessed unprecedented levels of corruption and lawlessness never before witnessed by the nation since its independence and to the amazement of the populace, the President Nana Addo Danquah Akuffo Addo (NADAA) doesn’t seem to have a clue as to how to handle the un-Ghanaian behaviour of NPP members who tend to believe they are all “invincible” and/or above the law.

For a man who campaigned on the ticket of the “rule of law” and making “vague promises”, about how when he assumes power he would curb corruption which he and Vice President Bawumia made a lot of noise about , with the help of NPP members in the Diaspora , who also took to the airwaves across the globe to toot accusations at His Excellency John Dramani Mahama’s NDC administration.

Fast forward to the present Ghanaian dispensation, many Ghanaians in the diaspora are left to wonder where the NPP branches in UK/USA/HOLLAND/GERMANY etc etc are . Because these branches, one would think , could become the moral barometer for the NPP party because they understand how effective the law can react when it comes to the sort of behaviours being exhibited in Ghana today by NPP appointed government officials and NPP members alike.

It’s shameful to say that under the watch of NADAA’s watch , the country has witness :-

1. Invincible forces (Terrorist Group) were able to boldly walk into court house to free its members who aggressively attacked and removed a government appointee because the pick wasn’t one they wanted or agree to .

2. An Energy Deal (AMERI )meant to benefit our nation Ghana was dubiously re-contracted so that a handful of NPP members including NADAA could benefit financially from the new deal should it have gone unnoticed.

3. Angry NPP members attack hospital administrators at the Tamale Teaching Hospital because they want to rewrite the laws of the nation.

4. NPP bankroller under the guise of Capital Bank redefines the meaning of corruption because Government officials stand to gain in their scheme

And the list goes on and on and on.
NDC members along with all Ghanaians would like to ask this question-: Where are the NPP overseas branch executives who in their words, helped this administration come to power. Where are the promises to lessen taxes at the Ports to help inflow of equipments aimed at adding to the development of our nation ? Where are the Dams?? Where are the Jobs ?? Where did the wizardry of Bawumia’s cedi fix vanish to ????

Ghanaians feel four one nined , so even as we march towards 2020, we all want to hold the current government accountable to the misuse of power, corruption and civil abuse when it comes to “family affair” type of governance we are witnessing.

Enough is enough, let’s all stand together and put an end to how some politicians easily sell our country to money lenders. Today we all notice how the NPP Government under the pretext of NO FISHING for a month , is allowing America soldiers get smuggled unto our shores, to set up their base in the country. Ghana beware is the new tagline by expats currently living in Ghana.

Long live the struggle to end corruption. God bless our homeland Ghana.
