So, Whoever Thinks He Stands Must Be Careful Not To Fall 1 Corinthians 10:12
15.08.2018 LISTEN

Uncle Ato, a Ghanaian musician has this popular Ghanaian Patriotic song, and I would love to sing it before I proceed. If you can sing... you join

"ɔman yi bɛyɛ yie a, ofir hɛn ara
asetsena yi bɛyɛ yie a, ofir hɛn ara
ɔman yi bɛyɛ yie a, ofir hɛn ara...hɛn ara
Yɛ mbɔ hɛn bira yiyie ɔbɛ yiyie a, ofir hɛn ara"
Aww.. Somebody thank Uncle Ato for me. I have no doubt that we all appreciate the powerful message this piece carries but for the benefit of those who can't read twi or fante, the head and tail of the song is that "the success of Ghana solely depends on us"

We will go to church today for Pastor to preach to us but let's see how Wɔfa Agbesi Woyome is doing. Charley I heard dude has settled Ghs 4.6m out of the Ghs51m oo..

Oooow fine fine fine... Wɔ mbom ma no. If dude has realized he received the money unlawfully dea, fine. Yɛ da Nyame ase. I nearly #StoodWithHim when the UT/Capital issue came up. I am now lying down flat.. Hehe

It's church time. Yɛ nkɔ asɔr. Nyamesom dze oye!

Our memory verse shall be taken from 1 Corinthians 10: 12 - [ so, whoever thinks he stands must be careful not to fall] My Bible knowledge weak too oo.. Hehe.. Oh Spirit of God direct me as I deliver this message to your people. Amen.

So ladies and gentlemen, the Bible says if you think you're standing then you must be careful you don't fall. Make surs you are firm wherever your are standing. In Ghana today, some people are #StandingAlone, others are #StandingWithPeople but my question is that from where you are standing, are you sure you are not going to fall? Hmm Asɛm sɛ bɛ!

Ghanafo, what are we thinking and saying? The Bank of Ghana(BoG) gives two companies Ghs 1.47b, directors of these companies decide to either misappropriate and squander the money, and we have no shame than to #StandWithThem?

Well.. I haven't heard anyone #StandingWith Mr. Prince Amoabeng and Ato Essien but Dr. Mensah Otabil. We are free to stand with whoever we want to stand with but lets be careful we don't fall. But the question is why Dr. Otabil and not Mr. Amoabeng or Ato Essien?

There's no doubt Dr. Otabil is one of the powerful and intelligent preachers in the country. I do not miss his Living Word sermons on Television. His preachings, I have no doubt, shaped my leadership career and my life in general. One thing I like about his preachings is that, he speaks in real terms for you to understand unlike other preachers who prefer to go the spirit way.

But hey, the truth of the matter is that he has acted contrary to the laws of the country and must be dealt with as such. Let's remember no one is above the law, not even the president. Per the Central Bank's investigation, the directors of the banks acted in a "Wilful deceit" manner. This is a "sin" in Ghana. Investigations proved that the money meant to support UT and Capital Banks were used for different purposes including re-branding of company, establishment of a new bank and the purchase of first class and business tickets. "Sinners" in this country are subject to face full rigorous of the law. No doubt. But Doc said he is currently assisting EOCO in investigation. That's fine. We hoping that those monies would be retrieved while offenders face the law.

But I understand Government has refused to pay monies due the former employees of the two banks after a year of loosing their jobs... Aww. Too bad. Already they are unemployed and you also refuse to give them their money, what else do you expect them to do. Well, according reports some of them have committed suicide and that's serious. It's very mean on the part of Government.. Anyway let's move to almighty EOCO

Na waoo... EOCO? hahahaha... Agyeiiii
Court orders EOCO to pay an amount to an applicant and they decide to inflate it? Lol. Investigative body paa? Aww Ghana. The Auditor General's report indicates that an excess amount of Ghc 2.7m was paid to the applicant. How do we retrieve that amount and jail the perpetrators too? Well..must I stand with EOCO too?

Let's proceed er!
The public accounts of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) for the financial year 2017 revealed that the overall financial impact of weaknesses and irregularities discovered by the Auditor-General amounted to over GH¢892 million. This amount of money cannot be found. Yes it doesn't exist in our coffers. It is sleeping in other People's Bank accounts resting.

A certain Alfred Obeng also sat down at BOST for Ghana to loose over Ghc 20m? Eei ewuradze. #IstandWithAlfredObeng

What about Gifty Klenam's fat fat rent and clothing allowances? #IstandWithGiftyKlenam

Africa is not poor. Ghana is not poor. Our minds are rather poor. We continue to borrow as country for people to wear suit and steal those monies. Our thieves are in tie. We see them. We speak to them. #WeStandWithThem.

Menuanom [President Millis voice], hɛn nyinara yɛ yar. Yehia ayarsa enyimenyim yiara.

If we think we are standing with people who have succeeded in duping the country billions of dollars, then we should be ready to fall. Ghana will surely fall with this kind of attitude. Change, Onua!

Meserɛ Nyankopɔn n'adom na ne nyimdzee ma hɛn nyinara na mmom yɛ nhwɛ yie na yɛammbɔ famu.

Meda hom nyinara ase!
