14.08.2018 LISTEN

The Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Asenso Boakye, has donated items to the Muslim community in the Bantama New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency in Kumasi, ahead of the Eid ul-Adha.

The items included nine bags of rice, four boxes of cooking oil, and 16 cartons of Awake bottled water.

The deputy Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) wing in the United States of America, Mr. Prince Kamal Guamah, presented the items on behalf of the donor.

Kamal gave the assurance that the gesture would be sustained, and that Mr. Asenso would continue to support, as and when it became necessary.

He urged the constituents to live in peace and unity, and urged Zongo youth to wean themselves from politicians who only use them for their parochial interests, irrespective of the consequences.

The NPP NASRA Co-ordinator for Bantama Constituency, Mr. Ahmed Abdallah, expressed gratitude for the gesture.

He urged Ghanaians abroad to emulate the shining example of Kamal Guamah and Asenso Boakye, and help the poor.

The Chairman of Bantama Constituency, Mr. Fiifi Mensah, expressed gratitude to Mr. Prince Kamal for taking it upon himself to donate the items to the party on behalf of the Deputy Chief Staff, Asenso Boakye, who, by nature of his work, has a heavy schedule.

Mr. Mensah disclosed that he is aware Mr. Kamal would personally donate desktop computers and a printer to the constituency office in October, this year.
