Asantehene Hosts New CEO Of MTN At Manhyia Palace

The New Chief Executive Officer of MTN Ghana, Mr Selorm Adadevor, on Friday paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Asantehene.

Mr. Adadevor, it would be recalled took over from Mr. Ebenezer Asante Twum.

The new MTN CEO, who could not hide his innermost feeling expressed deep appreciation to the Asantehene Otumfuo for the warm reception.

Addressing the media after a short meeting with the King, Mr. Adadevor applauded the entire Asante state acknowledging their loyal commitment to MTN.

He further noted that the Ashanti region is one of the most strategic business locations in the country.

"I would further like to caution against responding to text messages from scarmers. As a matter of fact the official number 0244-300-000 is the only number the company uses to notify its customers about promotions, advertisements and related activities. Any number apart from this number announcing any prize reward or award is fraudulent."

On his part, Nana Otuo Siriboe, Juabenhene on behalf of Otumfuo thanked MTN for being generous to the Manhyia Palace and the people of Asanteman.

He commended MTN for improving the speed of the network from 2.5 to 4.5 currently.

The chief praised the efforts of the outgoing CEO Asante Twum for his tenure of office and wished the new CEO well urging him to work harder to keep the position of MTN on top.
