About two thousand pastors and church workers are expected to attend the upcoming 'Leaders that Last' Conference at the House of Faith Ministries Worldwide auditorium in Kumasi.

The biannual conference which targets mostly people who perceive the call of God upon their lives, has won so much credibility among the Body of Christ across the country.

Organizers of the conference themed “Equipping and Empowering Leaders for the End time Ministry and Mission” say 'looking at the response we had the last time it was organized, and the calls we are having now, the number this year is going to be over two thousand'.

The General Secretary of House Of Faith Ministries Worldwide Rev. Ernest Ekuorba-Gyasi who addressed journalists on behalf of the General Overseer Rev. Alfred Nyamekye noted that many people who were called into ministry crashed along the way or lost integrity due to the lack of mentors.

Pointing biblical servants like Joshua, Elisha, Paul and the disciples among others, Rev. Ekuorba-Gyasi underscored the importance of mentorship and constant training from experienced and God fearing men over young ones.

He therefore noted that seasoned Men of God who have lasted over four decades in ministry and still have their credibility and integrity intact due to their fear of God are going to speak, and help attendants with answers to their challenges in Ministry during the Conference.

One of the reasons many pastors do not last in Ministry, according to him, is due to their inability to wait and go through training as seen of the biblical Men of God, 'that is why we see and hear all those ungodly stories and actions from some of these pastors'.

“It is not wrong for you to go through training for about 30 years before entering into mainstream ministry, because it happened to Jesus, but that is what many people can't wait for; waiting and training” He pointed.

Renowned Men of God billed to be speaking alongside Rev Alfred Nyamekye and Rev. Dr. Bobby Hill include Dr. Isaac Quaye, Dr. Oppong Adu Gyamfi and Bishop Joel Thomas among others.
