Sylvester Mensah Is NDC Best Choice For Flagbearer And Leader - Believers In Sly

We, members of BELIEVERS IN SLY(BIS) wish to congratulate Hon Sylvester A. Mensah for decisively and successfully notifying the General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress of his intention to contest the vacant Flagbearer position of the NDC, and by that notification begin a formal campaign tour in all 275 constituencies in the country to interact with delegates and prove to them why he is the best foot for the NDC in the 2020 elections. We have no shred of doubts in his ability to secure victory for the NDC and proceed to work to develop this country accordingly. We are particularly gratified by the fact that our aspirant was the first to have notified the party, amongst many.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the National Executive Committee of the NDC for giving the greenlight to flagbearer hopefuls to begin their campaigns. We welcome in particular the advise by the NEC for flagbearer hopefuls to conduct modest campaigns in view of the fact that we are in opposition and the current untoward economic hardship brought by the Nana Addo-Bawumia led administration does not warrant any profligacy. Indeed, the current administration is running this country into an abyss where countrymen and women are suffering under the tentacles of shackles of poverty! To this end, the ground is fertile for a change come 2020 and the NDC represents that change.

BIS wishes to assure the NEC our continuous commitment to embark upon a clean, modest, violet-free and issue-based engagements as we are noted for during our time for water-testing. Hon. Sylvester A. Mensah by persona and character is an intelligent, peace-loving, modest and strategic-minded person who will not and does not sanction foul campaigns hence our style of campaign will be positioned within this domain. We view the flag bearer contest as an internal and friendly competition for the best ideas, strategies and innovations that would ensure victory for the NDC come 2020 and not a do or die affair.

BIS by this press release extends our profound gratitude to Hon. Sylvester A. Mensah for hearkening to our several calls on him to contest for the vacant position of the flag bearer and we assure him our fullest endorsement.

Being the very first flag bearer hopeful to have notified the NEC about his intension to contest the flag bearer position barely 24 hours after the party lifted the ban shows his decisiveness and preparedness which are part of essential qualities of a good leader.
