Internationally known anti-militancy journalist Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury has been released from prison on 29th July, 2018, evening. He has expressed profound gratitude to everyone who is played active role for his release.

Mr. Choudhury has pledged to work with the anti militancy and seecular government in Bangladesh in combating militancy. Weekly Blitz will very soon resume its publications in Bangladesh and abroad.

Salah Uddin Shoaib Choudhury has called upon the United States government, especially President Donald Trump and his administration and every international community to extend fullest support towards the present government in Bangladesh, which has been very actively combating militancy under the magnanimous and effective leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

Mr. Choudhury has expressed profound gratitude to the members of local and international media, Committee to Protect Journalists, Reporters Sans Frontiers, PEN America, American Jewish Committee, Gatestone Institute, Middle East Forum, AIPAC and others for their kind support during past 6 years.

He also has expressed gratitude to the non-Muslims, especially his Jewish brother, sisters and friends around the world for their support and has hoped they all will continue such precious friendship and cooperation in the days to come.
