Sack me now, Tony Aidoo dares NDC
Embattled firebrand of the NDC, Tony Aidoo says he will not honour the invitation to appear before the disciplinary committee of the party.
He also dared the leadership of the party to sack him because he does not need the NDC platform to articulate his views on the injustices in the party.
“ I would not appear before the committee, it can sack me today. I do not need an NDC platform to articulate the injustices in the system,” he said.
Speaking on a private radio station in Kumasi, Dr Aidoo asked for proper interpretation of the NDC Constitution so that undue punishment is not meted out to Dr Josiah Aryeh.
“ What can a party, with without due process offer the nation when given the mandate to rule,” he asked.
According to him Dr Obed Asamoah is not running the party in accordance with the constitution of the party.
He, however, denied insulting the leadership of the party as stupid and called on the grassroots members to rise against injustices and weed out the current executives of the party.
The NDC firebrand also asked the grassroots members not to allow a few, who claim to be financial backers of the party to take them for a ride.
Dr Aidoo asked for evidence when he was reminded that Dr Obed Asamoah claims to have invested so much in the NDC.
" Where is the evidence” he asked.
The former deputy defence minister said though he has not invested materially in the party, he has put his whole life in its cause.
