Human Rights activist and lawyer, Francis-Xavier Sosu has implored delegates of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in Madina to be united ahead of their constituency elections this weekend.

According to him, "a new Madina NDC must be devoid of insults, violence and any act that brings violence and disunity".

"As we prepare for our Constituency Conference, I wish to respectfully plead with all of us to measure our utterances and reactions. Let us promote positive conversations that can promote peace, love and togetherness," Mr Sosu said.

He cautioned against repeating past mistakes that led to the NDC losing power and the Madina parliamentary seat.

"Let us try not to repeat mistakes of the past. Madina has taken a new path. A path that will bring progress and prosperity to all party members. Let our elections unite us on the common agenda of bringing joy to our teeming supporters," the renowned lawyer reiterated.

"Let us make NDC in Madina proud again. This is a family exercise. There will be no winners and losers. We will all be winners at the end," he added.

The election which is due to take place on Saturday is set to put Madina NDC on a new path to victory 2020.

There are possibilities he may be running again for the slot on the ticket of the NDC when nominations are opened ahead of the 2020 elections.

He says his continuous participation and support of the NDC in Madina has endured him to many, who are calling on him to stand again in 2020.

“I by far, the HOPE OF MADINA NDC 2020,” he said.
