For How Long will Africans be Treated with Contempt in Foreign Countries?

This particular publication is based on a WhatsApp video sent to me on Saturday, 9 June 2018, by one of my WhatsApp contacts. The title of the video is, “la police française et les femmes africaines”. In this video that can be viewed by any interested person through the link provided below, some African women of Cameroon origin were being treated inhumanely by the French police in France. The title when translated into English is, “The French police and the African women”.

In the video, some arrested illegal Cameroonian women, some carrying babies and one seen to be heavily pregnant, were forcibly being dragged on the floor. The police were with intent to deport them by applying physical force of removal. Was the force applied minimum and reasonable or it was brutal? I leave it to you the public to decide.

Whatever happened to the women which my further search revealed it happened somewhere in 2014, there are three parties to be blamed. They are the French police, the African leaders and the ordinary African citizens.

The French police probably acting on instructions by the government through the Interior Minister, applied the necessary removal force regardless of the state of the women being pregnant and carrying babies on their back. The pregnant woman fainted and some one was shouting in French for an ambulance to be called out for her. A child was also seen being dragged on the floor along with her mother. That was the degree of force and inhumane method applied in attempts to deport these illegal African immigrants in France to their home country.

I blame the corporate body of the African leaders for the suffering of not only those women but also, the maltreatment, racism, xenophobia and utter discrimination and victimization faced by the entire African immigrants in foreign lands. For the fact that they are incompetent, lack farsightedness, insatiably greedy, have fondness for embezzlement of public funds and assets and are inherently corrupt, they are unable to develop their countries and the human resources base to bring about prosperity to entice the citizens to stay in their various countries. The leaders steal their country’s money and sorry to say, as stupid as they are, they take the monies abroad to deposit them in their foreign accounts. Their attitudes are pure selfishness and complete stupidity.

While they steal their country’s money to stash them away abroad for their private use, they turn around to go abroad with one palm in another soliciting alms from the Western developed countries that they shamelessly refer to as donor countries, to supplement their yearly budgets for the development of their African countries . What nonsense is that!

The late expelled President of Zaire, upon all his numerous mansions and monies abroad; in Switzerland, France and Belgium especially, he was refused a visa to visit his doctors in Switzerland when his health was deteriorating at which same time there was an ongoing mutiny by the later to be murdered President Kabila, to overthrow him. France also denied him an entry visa when he rushed to Zaire but could not contain the mutiny and needed to rush out of Zaire for his safety, protection and health. In the end he went to Morocco where he died weeks after with all his monies and mansions taken by these foreign countries.

Not long ago, Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, was established to have carried cash in thousands of US dollars and British pounds on his body to London to deposit into his offshore accounts. He turns round to request the government to complete a block within the premises of Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi started forty years ago but left uncompleted since the overthrow of the Head od State Colonel I.K. Acheampong who started it. Instead of using part of the millions of Cedis and foreign currencies he has been extorting from people to complete the building, he is rather hiding them away in his private foreign bank accounts. That is the level of intelligence of our leaders hence the African being treated as subhuman in foreign lands.

The treatment of the women by the French police are by far better and more humane compared to how the African immigrants are treated in the Arab world starting from Libya to the Gulf States. The Arab states of the Persian Gulf are Bahrain, Iraq, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Finally, we the ordinary African citizens have ourselves to blame. We sit down with arms folded around the chest and look on like cowards while our leaders gluttonously steal the nation’s money and wealth as though they came from heaven with such things, hence it is their inalienable right to possess them and to do whatever they want with them. Why can’t we rise up against them in a civil revolt. Until there is a bloody civil revolution on the continent of Africa, the inhabitants of the continent will be seen and treated as subhuman by our civilized White contemporaries and our nearly equally unintelligent Arabs but who by their natural endowment of petroleum, think that they are far better and superior to the Black African.

As time is against me, I shall end here by saying, “Every great nation on earth was built by the sweat and the blood of its citizens”. Until African countries go down that path, our corrupt leaders will continually remain corrupt to ruin the nations for us and posterity. Far worse things are happening to African immigrants, especially those in the Gulf States who are starved and killed according to some WhatsApp messages and videos I do receive at times.

Because of African immigrants in the Western world, the citizens are so angered to start to elect into power right wing populist parties that hate immigrants. Therefore, what we see in the video is just the tip of the iceberg of the greater worse things to happen to the African immigrants.

The ball is now in our court, the ordinary citizens. What we do with it will decide the future of the African immigrants and the inhabitants of continental Africa. It is not because of our black skin colour that we are detested but because of our lack of intellect to do what is right and to stop creating human monsters to rather strengthen our institutions to spur on our development as nations and people.
